2009 is the year of the Lincoln Bicentennial ---Commemorating the 200th birthday and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. All around the country planning is underway to celebrate the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial – the 200th year anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth.
